Systems Business Analyst (Bus Franchising Programme) - Outside IR35

Want to help shape how a major public transport programme is delivered, from discovery through to Day 1 mobilisation? This contract role sits at the heart of a Bus Franchising Programme, translating complex operational needs into clear processes, system requirements, and practical delivery plans.

• Lead business analysis activity across the programme (requirements gathering through to traceability).
• Run workshops and engage stakeholders to define current-state and future-state needs.
• Produce clear documentation: process maps, functional/non-functional requirements, and supporting materials.
• Define system, interface, and data requirements, including dependencies and integration points.
• Support implementation activity (testing, migration, and readiness planning).
• Maintain and report on risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies; support governance and assurance.

You'll analyse, document, and coordinate business, operational, and technical requirements across multiple stakeholders and workstreams. Working in a fast-paced environment, you'll support operating model development, systems and data discovery, and readiness activity to keep delivery aligned to programme milestones.

Working style: Hybrid
Contract: 6 months, starting ASAP (extensions likely)
IR35: Outside IR35
Rate: £450-£550/day
