We're looking for a Head Chef to lead the kitchen at Rotherham United Football Club, bringing energy, creativity and strong commercial thinking to every service. You'll lead from the front, develop a talented team and make sure every plate meets the high standards our customers expect.

What you'll be serving up...

Leading, supporting and developing a high-performing kitchen team across match days, hospitality, conferences and events.

Creating exciting, seasonal menus while maintaining excellent quality, presentation, consistency and portion control.

Taking ownership of day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring smooth service and high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness.

Managing stock, suppliers, food costs, margins and waste to deliver strong commercial performance.

Working closely with front-of-house, events teams and clients to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

Ensuring full compliance with Food Safety, COSHH, Health & Safety, HACCP and legal requirements.

Proven experience leading a high-performing kitchen team, with a hands-on and proactive approach.

Experience as a Head Chef, or an ambitious Sous Chef ready to take the next step.

Strong culinary skills and experience delivering high-quality food at volume.

A genuine passion for hospitality, customer service and creating memorable experiences.

Excellent communication, organisation and people-management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.

The confidence to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment without compromising standards.

Strong commercial awareness, including budgeting, GP/food cost control and waste reduction.

Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene and Health & Safety requirements.
