What you'll be serving up...

As a Catering Assistant, you will provide support across various operational tasks to help ensure the smooth daily running of the site or department.

Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including a range of coffee specialties and teas

Operate coffee machines and other beverage equipment, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation

Assist customers with menu choices and deliver excellent customer service

Maintain cleanliness of the coffee station, service areas, and equipment

Assist with general cleaning, maintenance, and tidying of the work environment

Support team members with various duties as required

Help with the receipt, storage, and distribution of supplies and equipment

Replenish stock, monitor ingredient levels, and report shortages when necessary

Operate basic machinery or tools safely under supervision

Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace

Follow food safety, health and safety guidelines, and company policies

Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients or visitors

The ingredients you'll bring...

Previous experience in a catering, hospitality, retail, or barista role is desirable

Knowledge of coffee preparation and beverage service would be an advantage

Flexibility and willingness to undertake a variety of tasks

Good communication and teamwork skills

Ability to follow instructions and work independently

Basic knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety practices

Positive attitude, reliability, and a passion for delivering great customer service
