Accounts Assistant

Job description

• Ledger & Cash Management: Maintain ledgers and cashbooks; control petty cash; manage payment runs and cheques.
• Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile ledger and bank accounts for accuracy.
• Invoice Processing & Reporting: Match invoices to purchase orders; prepare year-end audit schedules; manage intergroup invoices and nominal ledger validations.
• Credit Control: Maintain credit control, liaising with debt recovery agencies for overdue accounts.
• Banking & Additional Duties: Process daily Branch banking; assist with Warranty claims, stock checks, and annual audit preparation.
