The Engineering Department - Workshop of the DP World Constanta South Container Terminal Agigea presents an opportunity suitable for persons holding a welder qualification and one of the following certificates: ISCIR/ANR/Lloyds.

• Execution of metal fabrication activities and mechanical repairs for machinery and equipment in the terminal, in accordance with safety standards, work instructions, and internal procedures.
• Specialized technical support in repair activities for machinery and equipment, according to tasks assigned by the Transport Workshop Head / Mechanical Engineer / Electrical Engineer and provided for in the Work Plan.
• Identification and visual verification of mechanical components and electrical equipment to be repaired or replaced, after receiving the work order (Work Order in Maximo).
• Determination of materials necessary for fulfilling the work task and requesting their release from the Warehouse, based on the work order.
• Carrying out repairs and welding fabrications for mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components and equipment within the area of responsibility, to ensure operation at nominal technical parameters and to reduce downtime.
• Verification of the quality of executed works and correction, as necessary, to ensure compliance with technical and safety standards.
• Requesting, through the Technical Dispatcher, the performance of technological tests with the repaired equipment, using an authorized operator, and reporting the completion of the task to the hierarchical supervisor.
• Solving problems in a complex operational context, in interdisciplinary teams, and providing specialized technical support when requested or when the situation requires it.
• Participation, in case of natural disasters (floods, snowfalls, storms, etc.), in activities to remove effects and to ensure the security of equipment and the terminal.
• Carrying out specific activities for internal authorization as a Shunter and Rigger, according to ISCIR prescriptions, safely using jacks, hoists, clamps, manual cranes, aerial work platforms, forklifts, cranes, and overhead traveling cranes for handling packages and parts in maintenance and repair operations.
• Ensuring the handling of parts and raw materials under conditions of efficiency, high productivity, and safety, without damaging equipment, containers, cargo, forklifts, trucks (internal or external), or wagons.
• Support in vulcanization activities for tires, inner tubes, and rims of machinery and equipment in the terminal, reporting damages occurring to tires and, as needed, participating in repairs/maintenance to ensure operation at nominal technical parameters.

The working schedule is full-time day shift, Monday-Friday, 8:00-16:00, and the contractual period will be a fixed term of 12 months.
