Warehouse Supervisor

About the Role

At DP World, we're looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead and support warehouse operations, ensuring safe, efficient and customer-focused delivery. Reporting to the Assistant Operations Manager, you'll play a key role in driving operational performance, coaching teams and maintaining high service standards within a busy distribution environment.

Working pattern: This role operates on a flexible shift pattern, working 7.5-hour shifts between 6:00am and 10:00pm in line with business requirements.

How you will contribute

• Lead and supervise outbound and dispatch operations, while maintaining the flexibility to support goods-in, storage, picking and packing activities as business demands require.

• Ensure the team consistently delivers against service level agreements and key performance indicators.

• Promote and maintain the highest standards of health and safety across all operational activities.

• Manage team performance, attendance, training and employee relations matters.

• Coach, develop and motivate team members to create a positive and high-performing working environment.

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.

• Communicate effectively with operational teams, management and key stakeholders to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

• Maintain high housekeeping standards and support continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

• Demonstrate flexibility to support changing customer and business requirements.

What you will bring

• Proven hands-on experience in a Warehouse Supervisor or similar frontline leadership role.

• Strong people management experience, including coaching, performance management and team development.

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.

• Experience working within a fast-paced warehouse, logistics or distribution environment.

• Ability to analyse operational issues and implement practical solutions.

• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems; knowledge of GDS and/or DCMS would be highly advantageous.

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and manage resources effectively.

• Experience of managing warehouse transport would be desirable.

• A flexible approach to working hours, with availability to work 7.5-hour shifts between 6:00am and 10:00pm to meet business needs.
