Kitchen Porter

You will receive training through our Dalata Academy to help you learn important skills. You will also meet experienced team members who can help you grow.

Your Job

Assist the Head Chef and kitchen team with the smooth running of breakfast service.
Ensure a constant supply of clean plates, cutlery, cooking equipment and kitchen utensils throughout breakfast service.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen, including washing dishes, cleaning equipment and keeping work areas tidy.
Assist with receiving, checking and putting away deliveries, ensuring stock is stored correctly and safely.
Support the kitchen team with general cleaning duties and maintaining an organised kitchen.
Work alongside the chef team to ensure food safety and HACCP standards are maintained at all times.

What You'll Need

Previous experience working in a kitchen or Kitchen Porter role is desirable, but not essential, as training will be provided.
Flexibility to work early mornings and weekends to support breakfast service.
Ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work as part of a team and use your own initiative.
