Civil Engineer

• Civil design experience in the water industry.

• Experience of working on projects in a Design & Build environment.

• Additional technically focussed qualifications / training
• Safety passport or similar

• A Civil Engineering degree, or equivalent.
• Working towards professional status, with a relevant institution such as the Institution Civil Engineers (ICE) or Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE).

Due to project growth, the position of Civil Engineer has become available to join our successful team on the Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) Framework in Peterborough

• Take ownership to deliver design and associated activities in your section of the SPA programme of works, whilst understanding the importance of design interactions from Solutions, Production and Delivery

• Work closely with team members to ensure project requirements are met.

• Develop commercial abilities by assisting with managing estimates, targets and forecasts for the design.

• Interface with our GI, Utilities and Environmental teams.

• Liaison with Temporary Works design

• Enable accurate and timely information flow, such as response to Technical Queries etc.
• You will work with Supply Chain Designers, Offshore Designers, SPA Planners and Delivery Teams

• Embrace digital transformation throughout design.

• You will support the Solutions, Engineering and Production teams with pioneering ideas to gain efficiencies

• Drive a culture of continuous improvement in Health & Safety (H&S), ensuring consistent H&S standards are maintained.
