Nice to have
Financial Control Run the day-to-day finance operation: invoicing, payment runs, supplier set-up, and managing our external bookkeeper. You'll own the integrity of our numbers in Xero and make sure billing happens on time, accurately, and in line with project delivery.
Credit Control & Supplier Management Own the working capital cycle end to end. Chase outstanding invoices, build strong relationships with client AP teams, and keep DSO under control. On the other side, manage supplier relationships, payment terms, and the payment run making sure talent, freelancers, and partners are paid on time and we're getting the best terms.
Cash Flow Forecasting Build and maintain a 13-week rolling cash flow forecast that the leadership team can actually rely on. Tie it to the live pipeline, project delivery, and supplier commitments, and use it to flag pressure points early and inform decisions on hiring, investment, and timing.
Project Accounting Own the financial picture at a project level. Track revenue recognition against delivery milestones, monitor project margins as work progresses, manage WIP and accruals, and make sure each engagement is billed and reported accurately. You'll be the link between what the delivery team is doing and what shows up in the numbers.
Commercial Finance & Sales Support Partner closely with the sales team to provide the reporting, margin analysis, and decision support they need to win profitable work. You'll own pipeline reporting (HubSpot through to revenue), deal-level margin reviews, and help shape pricing on new opportunities.
Operational Analysis Translate the numbers into insight. Track performance against quarterly targets, flag risks early, and provide the leadership team with a clear view of where revenue, margin, and capacity are heading. Build and maintain the reporting that helps us run the business week to week.
Leadership Team Partnering Sit alongside the LT as a trusted commercial sounding board. Bring a frank, evidence-based view to resourcing, investment, and growth decisions. Prepare the financial inputs for management meetings and help turn strategy into numbers.
