The role

We are seeking a senior claims handler to join our nationally recognised employment team. Known for its expertise in employment practices liability insurance (EPLI) claims handling, the team works closely with a market-leading insurer and a diverse range of policyholders, providing practical, commercial and solutions-focused advice.

This is an exciting opportunity and varied role that combines delegated authority claims handling with employment tribunal work. The majority of your time will be spent managing a caseload of employment practices liability claims on behalf of our insurer client, advising policyholders from initial notification through to resolution. Alongside this, you will have the opportunity to represent policyholders and other clients of the firm in employment tribunal proceedings under the supervision of an experienced partner.

What we are looking for

Candidates must be able to demonstrate experience and competence in conducting employment tribunal proceedings. A strong understanding of employment law and hands-on experience of managing employment claims are essential.

Most importantly, we are looking for someone with confidence, drive and ambition, together with a genuine desire to learn and develop. Employment law is constantly evolving, and we value individuals who are proactive in keeping abreast of legal developments and committed to delivering outstanding service to clients.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded team and build your career within a leading national law firm, working on high-quality matters with the support, training and development needed to achieve your full potential.

Why Join Us?

We offer a flexible and hybrid working model. Our comprehensive benefits package includes private medical insurance, pension contributions, an employee assistance programme, and a range of wellbeing initiatives. Enhanced parental leave is also available, reflecting our commitment to supporting you through every stage of your career and life.

We celebrate diversity and welcome applicants from all backgrounds. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, colour, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, social economic background or age.
