The role

Help turn ambitious corporate partnerships into significant income and impact for the British Heart Foundation.

As Corporate Partnerships Manager, you'll manage a portfolio of important corporate relationships, including a large strategic partnership expected to raise more than £1m per year. You'll build relationships that create value for our partners while generating vital funds and awareness to support BHF's work.

Ultimately, your work will help generate the funds that support BHF's mission and its investment in ground-breaking research, helping us get closer to a world where everyone has a healthier heart for longer.

What you'll do

You'll have real ownership of how your partnerships develop. You'll:

  • create tailored growth plans to increase income, awareness, and impact
  • build influential relationships across partner organisations
  • identify and develop growth opportunities
  • bring together expertise from across BHF to turn ideas into activity that works for each partner

You'll work closely with colleagues across BHF, including our New Business, Marketing and Health Partnerships teams. From developing proposals and presentations to solving challenges and managing risk, you'll help build partnerships that deliver now and have the potential to grow over time.

How you'll work

This is a fixed-term contract until March 2028, initially covering an internal secondment and then another employee's family leave, with a start date as soon as possible.

This is a hybrid role, where your work will be split between your home, our London office, and your corporate partner locations. This is a fundraising role where travel is expected to partner locations for meetings and events. On average, you'll spend at least one day per week in the office, with around one additional partner‑site visit each week. This may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause.

The role will also involve travel across the UK for meetings and campaigns.

About you

You'll bring significant experience working across a variety of corporate partnerships, which could include strategic, commercial or charity of the year partnerships, alongside a strong track record of developing and managing productive, income-generating relationships

You'll also have experience managing cross-organisational projects, ideally with a focus on income generation, and be confident building relationships and influencing stakeholders at different levels.

A self-starter with initiative and drive, you'll have a broad understanding of corporate fundraising and the commercial judgement to recognise opportunities for growth and wider partnership value. You'll be comfortable developing clear plans, managing competing priorities and finding creative solutions that deliver results.
