You'll be responsible for increasing product access and advocacy across your territory, from securing formulary listings and supporting pathway development to delivering engaging product training. By building trusted relationships with tissue viability teams, community nurses, procurement, primary care and specialist clinics, you'll help healthcare professionals achieve better outcomes for their patients.

Key details

  • Job Title: Medical Sales Specialist
  • Department: Woundcare
  • Location: Field Based, covering South West England - Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Dorset and Hampshire
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
  • Contract: Permanent

Your main responsibilities

  • Develop and execute effective territory plans to drive sales growth and achieve agreed targets.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with clinical, procurement and other key healthcare stakeholders.
  • Increase product access and advocacy through effective customer engagement and account management.
  • Deliver engaging product demonstrations, training sessions and support successful formulary rollouts.
  • Develop tailored value propositions that meet the needs of NHS customers and commercial partners.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the woundcare market, clinical trends and competitor activity.
  • Use market and customer insights to identify opportunities and support effective sales conversations.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in sales or clinical practice within the UK healthcare system - ideally gained in wound, skin, community, stoma, diabetes, or dermatology environments - would be desirable.
  • Strong influencing skills and the ability to build meaningful customer relationships.
