The role
Salary circa £40,000 (depending on location and experience)
Help shape the technology that keeps Aviva's workplaces safe, secure and resilient. Join a role where you'll work with cutting-edge building systems, partner with key stakeholders and influence the future of our property portfolio across the UK and Ireland.
What you'll do
As a Technical Systems Analyst, you'll support the delivery, operation and continuous improvement of the technical systems that underpin safe, secure and resilient building operations across Aviva's property portfolio. Working closely with supplier partners, Security, Health & Safety teams and local building leads, you'll help ensure critical systems such as access control and fire safety technology remain reliable, compliant and fit for purpose.
You'll coordinate maintenance and support activities, monitor supplier performance, manage system records and compliance documentation, and contribute to resilience and lifecycle planning. You'll also play an important role in implementing new building technologies, supporting system upgrades and integrations, and providing meaningful performance, audit and compliance reporting that helps drive informed decision-making across the business.
Skills and experience we're looking for
- Experience supporting and maintaining technical systems within a multi-site property, facilities or operational environment, with knowledge of access control, fire systems or related technologies.
- Strong understanding of system implementation, testing, change control, operational support and technology lifecycle management.
- Experience managing third-party suppliers and monitoring performance against SLAs, KPIs and service requirements.
- Ability to analyse technical data and produce clear reporting on system performance, compliance, risk and operational resilience.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
