The role
We are seeking an experienced, forward-thinking and highly motivated operational team leader to join our Neighbourhoods team. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality, responsive services and ensuring frontline operational teams continue to provide excellent outcomes for residents across the district.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the day-to-day delivery of neighbourhood services, providing effective operational leadership and expert advice to both frontline employees and managers. They will be instrumental in creating and maintaining a dynamic, flexible and customer-focused service that can adapt to changing priorities and community needs.
You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the service, overseeing daily activities, ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements, and driving continuous improvement across all areas of responsibility. As an experienced people manager, you will lead, motivate and develop staff to achieve high-performance standards while fostering a positive and inclusive working environment.

You will have a proven track record of identifying opportunities for improvement, embracing technology and implementing new approaches that enhance service delivery, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
