The role
Apple is a place where extraordinary people gather to do their best work. Together we create products and experiences people once couldn't have imagined - and now can't imagine living without. If you're motivated by the idea of making a real impact, and joining a team where we pride ourselves in being one of the most diverse and inclusive companies in the world, a career with Apple might be your dream job!
You will become a member of the Sales Finance team at Apple. With approximately 130 employees based across 5 locational hubs within EMEIA (Europe, Middle East, India and Africa), we create value, collaborating with many teams to provide outstanding commercial and financial support. We set the bar high; go out of our way to help others; share knowledge; filter out noise to focus on the essential; encourage the very best from ourselves and the team; and drive the right course of action. To do all of this you will be an excellent communicator, collaborator and innovator, with a passion for debate and inclusion. The purpose of this role is to provide first line business partnering to the France Sales team, to support high quality decision making with a view to improving performance and maximising return.
To be successful, you will build a deep understanding of all aspects of the business, developing both the critical goals as well as driving the operational execution.
You will ensure quarterly execution maps clearly to strategic priorities, whether through deployment of marketing investments, capabilities development, back margin programs or ad hoc investments.
You will be intentional about focusing your time on investment and performance analysis, and financially led insights about the business to drive plans and decisions. You will seek involvement in sales initiatives from the outset to build sustainable growth initiatives and enable continuous assessment of impact through insightful analytics tailored to the specific commercial goals.
You will build and share expertise in the Retail RTM by connecting with peers across the organisation, under the leadership of the respective Europe RTM lead. You will also act as Finance Lead for France, partnering up with a senior sales leader on shaping a sustainable commercial strategy.
You demonstrate resilience and tenacity when presented with roadblocks. You move beyond traditional ways of doing things; push past the status quo, and embrace new ways of working. You readily distinguish between what's relevant and what's unimportant to make sense of complex situations. You adjust communication content and style to meet the needs of diverse stakeholders, and are able to read the room.
Core tasks will cover areas such as partner account planning, demand generation, target setting, channel development and investment activities.
