In Places, we don’t sit back and let things happen, we make things happen, and we do this in service to all Apple employees and customers. Our team is a diverse and nimble group that manages Apple’s retail stores, workplaces, and workplace services. We develop and manage Apple’s global real estate portfolio, lead all related capital construction projects, provide outstanding facilities services, and create and run Apple’s iconic events.
The Apple Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) team is seeking a collaborative professional to join us as EHS Lead, EMEA Corporate. Reporting to the Regional Corporate EHS Manager (EMEA), the EHS Lead supports regulatory compliance, risk management, and operational EHS programs. You partner closely with Facilities, Corporate Security, People, Project Management, and business teams to embed and continuously improve robust arrangements across a diverse regional portfolio.

Coordinate and support chemical inventories, new equipment/chemical reviews and risk assessments
Support environmental compliance objectives, including hazardous/chemical waste disposal, emissions reporting, and environmental permit management.
Lead root cause investigations for workplace accidents and near misses; develop CAPAs and partner with local business leaders to prevent recurrence.

Provide EHS oversight for projects, including design reviews, safe systems of work / RAMS evaluations, contractor oversight, and pre-occupancy commissioning.
Oversee contractor and service-partner EHS compliance across projects and daily operations, including safe work procedures and high-risk permits.
Track and report EHS metrics and audit findings to leadership, identifying regional trends and continuous improvement opportunities.
Coordinate and direct the work of EHS consultants / contractors across the portfolio
Stay current on regulatory requirements and industry best practices, driving continuous improvements to site procedures and programs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and execute EHS initiatives.
Deliver guidance and training to personnel to cultivate a proactive, human-centered safety culture.
