The role
A Day in the Life of a Sales Manager at Hyatt, Leeds
As Sales Manager, your focus will be on getting out into the market and creating opportunities for the hotel, with a particular emphasis on growing our corporate business.
You'll identify and target local businesses, build relationships with key decision-makers and develop negotiated corporate accounts that deliver long-term value. From researching new opportunities and arranging appointments to show-rounds, networking and negotiating agreements, this is a proactive sales role where your ability to open doors will make a visible difference.
You'll also work closely with our wider commercial and operational teams to understand demand, identify opportunities and make sure we're putting the right proposition in front of the right customers.
And you'll have a compelling product to sell. A relatively new, dual-branded Hyatt property with a distinctive guest proposition and its own bespoke food and beverage destination in Azotea gives you plenty of reasons to start a conversation.
What's in it for you?
This is an opportunity for a proactive Sales Manager who enjoys getting out into the market, creating new relationships and turning opportunities into business.
You won't be doing that alone. You'll join a hugely collaborative hotel team, supported by an experienced commercial network across Aimbridge. You'll have the freedom to build relationships locally while benefiting from the knowledge, expertise and scale of the wider business.
As part of the Aimbridge team, you'll also have access to benefits including:
- Industry-leading training and leadership development opportunities
- Hotel discounts across our portfolio, including staff rates and up to 50% off food, beverage and spa
- Access to Stream, allowing you to access up to 40% of earned pay and set automatic savings
- 24/7 employee assistance programme
- Uncapped incentives
- Company sick pay
- Minimum of 30 days' holiday
- Staff meals on duty
- Paid breaks
- Access to hotel gym facilities
- Career and lifestyle breaks
- Free staff parking

What Do We Need From You?
We're looking for someone with a genuine proactive sales mindset and experience developing corporate business within a local market.
You'll understand how to identify potential corporate accounts, build a pipeline and convert new relationships into negotiated business. Hospitality experience would be valuable, but what matters most is your ability to understand a market, create opportunities and confidently represent the hotel in front of prospective clients.
You'll be comfortable working to targets and managing your own activity, but equally comfortable collaborating with Revenue, Marketing and the wider hotel operation. We want someone who brings energy, commercial curiosity and the confidence to get out from behind the desk and sell.
Most importantly, you'll be excited by the opportunity to help shape the next stage of growth for a relatively new hotel and become a visible part of its local business community.
Your Journey, Your Way
At Aimbridge, we recognise that people are at the heart of our business. As a global hospitality leader, we're committed to creating opportunities for our people to develop their skills, broaden their experience and build a career that works for them.
If you're looking for a sales role where you can make your mark, represent an exciting Hyatt property and have the backing of a much bigger commercial team around you, we'd love to hear from you.
Your journey. Your way. A Place to Grow.
