Team Leader

Location: Darlington, with the option for hybrid working after successfully completing probation.
Contract: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 8:00 AM and 5:30 PM.
Salary: £28,621 per annum.

We're looking for a driven and organised Team Leader to join our Maintenance Planning Team at Northgate Vehicle Hire in Darlington. In this key leadership role, you'll manage and support a team of Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) who are responsible for coordinating vehicle maintenance and repairs across our UK fleet.

As Team Leader, you'll ensure your team delivers accurate and timely communication with repairers, manages supplier relationships effectively, and keeps customers informed throughout the repair journey.

Your responsibilities will include

• Leading, coaching and developing a team of CSRs through regular 1:1s, training and performance feedback.
• Monitoring vehicle repair timelines, ensuring that all repair schedules are proactively managed and updated.
• Supporting the team in sourcing parts and working closely with suppliers and repairers to confirm accurate completion dates.
• Acting as a point of escalation for complex repair or supplier issues, ensuring resolution while keeping customer service at the forefront.
• Driving continuous improvement through process enhancements and performance monitoring.
