At FMG Repair Services, we're looking for a Roaming Vehicle Damage Assessor to support our sites across Scotland, providing expert estimating and assessment services while ensuring exceptional customer outcomes and repair quality standards.

The Role

As a Roaming VDA, you'll travel between our Scottish repair centres, supporting operational demands, holiday cover and business growth. You'll be responsible for accurately assessing vehicle damage, producing repair estimates, liaising with insurers and customers, and helping ensure repairs are completed efficiently and to the highest possible standards.

You'll work closely with Bodyshop Managers, Technicians and wider operational teams, becoming a key support function across multiple locations.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor, Estimator or IMI VDA
• Strong knowledge of vehicle repair methods and industry standards
• Experience using estimating systems such as Audatex
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Well organised with strong attention to detail
• Full UK Driving Licence
• A flexible approach and willingness to travel across Scotland
