Launch your career in construction with our Graduate and Apprenticeship programmes within the Midlands region. Based from our offices in either Central Birmingham, Coleshill, or Nottingham, you'll gain valuable hands-on experience working on exciting construction projects across the West, Central, and East Midlands, helping to shape the communities of tomorrow.
Starting in September 2027, we have opportunities in the following disciplines:
Proposals: You will oversee the proposals process, creating compelling written content and strategies that "wow" our customers, showcase our strengths, and help secure future projects for the business.
Preconstruction Project Management: You will oversee and support projects through the work-winning and preconstruction stages, responsible for developing winning bids and ensuring projects are planned, coordinated, resourced, risk-managed, and contractually secured ready for successful delivery by our site teams.
Quantity Surveyor: Your role is about managing the costs of a project on site. This will include preparing tender and contract documents, weighing up commercial risks, procuring the best supply chain and managing payments for completed work.
Site Manager: You play a vital role in turning plans into reality, leading the safe and efficient delivery of construction projects from start to finish.
Building Services Manager (Mechanical & Electrical) - you will develop and assist with the mechanical and electrical strategy and delivery of services during preconstruction and delivery phases of the project. Providing leadership to the supply chain to drive high-quality technical solutions that meet budgets and timescales.
Our programme is 2 to 5 years in duration (depending upon your level of academic achievement) and will give you the chance to earn, learn and gain real experience alongside a part-time study for a relevant qualification that is paid for by Willmott Dixon.
