Motor Recoveries Paralegal

The sheer volume of cases, and the constant possibility of major costs and resources being involved, can impact seriously on the operational performance of any of the parties involved.

Weightmans' Motor team is a market leader in this field offering a full service with dedicated teams dealing with fast track, multi track, fraud, credit hire, indemnity issues and representation at inquests and criminal prosecutions.

We are currently recruiting for a Paralegal to manage a caseload of recovery cases for the Motor Recoveries team in Liverpool.

• Manage caseload effectively and efficiently
• Initially review liability and quantum before devising a strategy for continued handling;
• Handle cases to conclusion including making P36 offers, issuing court proceedings and instructing Counsel;
• Complete client and firm MI procedures
• Comply with client SLAs, e-manual and local claims handling requirements
• Achieve set chargeable hours and financial targets
• Comply with Data Protection Procedures
