The role
We're looking for a Senior Marketing Data Analyst who loves turning data into smarter marketing decisions. Working across our Health and Life businesses, you'll dig into customer behaviour, media performance and digital journeys to understand what's working, what isn't and where the next opportunity lies. Your insight will help shape media strategy, audiences, creative, budget allocation and digital experiences, giving you real influence over how Vitality attracts and converts new customers.
What you'll do
- Own the analytical interpretation of direct acquisition performance, connecting marketing investment and activity to leads, sales, customer quality and commercial value
- Identify the underlying drivers of acquisition performance by combining media, audience, creative, CRM, digital journey, sales and external market data
- Develop evidence-based recommendations on marketing budget allocation using econometrics, experimentation, historical performance and marginal-return analysis
- Provide an independent analytical perspective on audience targeting, bidding, campaign structure, channel mix and activation strategies
- Build a structured experimentation programme, defining hypotheses, test designs and success measures and translating results into clear next actions
- Strengthen the use of first-party customer and sales data across marketing measurement, audience activation, conversion tracking and optimisation
- Partner with Vitality's econometrics agency to challenge model assumptions, improve data inputs and translate findings into practical investment decisions
- Coordinate reliable, automated and quality-controlled data feeds across media, customer and commercial data sources
- Evaluate creative effectiveness to understand how messaging, proposition, format and execution influence acquisition and conversion outcomes
- Apply statistical, predictive and causal analytical techniques to improve targeting, measurement and investment decisions
Team - Marketing & Digital Analytics

We are happy to discuss flexible working!
