What's the Gig?

As our Host, you'll be the friendly face of The Ganton Arms, setting the tone for every guest's experience. You'll help keep the front door running smoothly, manage bookings and seating, and work closely with the team to make sure every guest feels looked after.

• Welcome every guest with a genuine smile and make them feel at home from the moment they arrive.
• Manage bookings, reservations and walk-ins, ensuring guests are seated promptly and efficiently.
• Keep on top of the flow of the floor, communicating with the team to ensure service runs smoothly.
• Know our food, drinks and events so you can confidently answer questions and make recommendations.
• Handle guest queries with confidence, warmth and a can-do attitude.
• Work closely with the management and front-of-house teams to deliver brilliant service every day.
• Help spread the word about The Ganton Arms, our events and private hire opportunities.

What We're Looking For

• A naturally welcoming personality with a genuine passion for hospitality.
• Someone organised, proactive and confident communicating with guests and colleagues.
• A team player who can think on their feet when things get busy.
• Someone who takes pride in the little details and understands the importance of a great first impression.
• Previous hosting or hospitality experience is a bonus, but the right attitude and personality matter just as much!
