The role
The role is vital in reducing persistent absence, supporting pupil welfare and ensuring compliance with statutory attendance requirements.
We are looking for a compassionate and resilient individual with strong communication and organisational skills. You will be confident working with families, analysing attendance data and implementing effective interventions to improve attendance. A good understanding of safeguarding, attention to detail and a commitment to supporting young people to achieve their full potential are essential. Experience within a school, attendance, pastoral or welfare setting would be advantageous.
We are looking for an organised and proactive individual who takes pride in delivering an excellent service, can manage multiple priorities effectively and maintains a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You will be committed to helping every child fulfil their potential and to bringing out 'the best in everyone' and playing an active role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils.
Accrington Academy is part of United Learning, a growing group of schools whose aim is to provide excellent education to children and young people across the country. If you enjoy a varied role and take pride in making a difference, we'd love to hear from you!
