**Vehicle Technician / Cars and Commercial Vans**

Based in Huncoat, Nr Accrington

Negotiable Pay Rate DOE + Overtime Potential + Company Benefits

We are currently looking to recruit a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician to join our fleet maintenance team, responsible for keeping our diverse fleet of company cars and commercial vans running at peak performance-all from our modern, fully equipped workshop at our Huncoat Garage site in Lancashire.

**The Role:**

• Carry out maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a fleet of in-house commercial vans, primarily Mercedes Vito and Sprinter models

• Support the upkeep and service management of the company car fleet, including diesel pool cars and hybrid/PHEV vehicles (Volvo, Kia, and Land Rover)

• Diagnose faults and ensure vehicles are maintained to a high standard of safety and reliability

• Assist with fleet compliance, inspections, and record keeping

• Work collaboratively within the Fleet Maintenance team to ensure efficient workshop operations

• Complete all jobs following company policies and procedures, providing the necessary documentation for the Garage Manager.

• Ensure work areas are kept clean and tidy at all times.

**The Person:**

• Proven experience as a vehicle technician, working on cars and/ or light commercial vehicles.

• Proven diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

• A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Relevant qualifications (eg NVQ, City & Guilds in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent).

• Previous HGV mechanical experience would be highly desirable but not essential.

**Working Hours:**

Rotating / 6am to 2.30pm Mon to Thurs, and 6am to 12pm Friday

8am to 4.30pm Mon to Thurs, and 8am to 2pm Friday
