About The Role

We're looking for an Operations Support Coordinator to join our Partnership Support team. This is a varied and people-focused role where you'll play an important part in ensuring our offices operate smoothly while delivering an exceptional experience for visitors, Partners, clients and colleagues.

As one of the first points of contact for the business, you'll help create a professional and welcoming environment, supporting everything from reception and switchboard services through to facilities coordination, meeting room management and operational support activities. No two days are the same, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, building relationships and providing outstanding service.

What You'll Be Doing

In this role, you'll support the day-to-day running of our office environment and wider operational activities by:

  • Providing a professional and welcoming reception service for visitors, clients and Partners.
  • Handling inbound calls through the national switchboard and ensuring enquiries are handled efficiently.
  • Coordinating meeting room bookings and supporting the setup of meetings and events.
  • Handling visitor access, parking arrangements and supporting office security processes.
  • Acting as a key liaison with facilities, security and corporate real estate teams to ensure office issues are resolved promptly.
  • Supporting operational projects and administrative activities across the wider business.
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation to provide effective support and resolve queries.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and ways of working to enhance efficiency and service delivery.

About You

You'll be a highly organised and customer-focused professional who enjoys creating positive experiences for others. Comfortable balancing multiple priorities, you'll take ownership of your workload, use your initiative to solve problems and build strong working relationships across a wide range of team members. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, professionalism and teamwork is at the heart of SJP. Whether welcoming visitors, coordinating facilities requirements or supporting business operations, you'll be committed to delivering an excellent service and maintaining the highest standards at all times.

Essential Criteria

  • Previous experience delivering high-quality customer service, administrative or operational support.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with confidence interacting at all levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently, use initiative and make informed decisions.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with a collaborative and team-focused approach.

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience working within a reception, facilities, office management or operational support environment.
  • Experience coordinating meetings, events or visitor management processes.
  • Understanding of workplace security procedures and visitor access controls.
  • Experience identifying and implementing process improvements.
