About the role
We're looking for a highly organised Event Coordinator to join our Events team and support the successful delivery of SJP's corporate events calendar. Working across both the Event Operations Team and Flagship Events Delivery Team, you'll play a key role in the planning, preparation and delivery of high-quality in-person events, helping to ensure every event runs smoothly and delivers an exceptional experience for attendees. This is a varied role combining event logistics, stakeholder coordination, supplier management and operational administration, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
What you'll be doing
- Manage event inboxes and act as a first point of contact for event-related enquiries, providing excellent customer service and ensuring queries are resolved efficiently.
- Coordinate event logistics, materials and inventory, including sourcing suppliers, managing stock, arranging event resources, and supporting event setup and pack-down activities.
- Support the attendance and engagement of senior stakeholders, including Board, GEC, and Chairman attendees, ensuring communications, briefing materials and event information are delivered accurately and on time.
- Provide onsite support at events, helping to ensure seamless event execution and an exceptional delegate experience.
- Deliver a range of operational and administrative activities, including finance administration, expense processing, sustainability reporting, CPD support and continuous improvement of team processes.
About you
You are a proactive and detail-focused coordinator who thrives on organisation and takes pride in delivering high-quality work. You enjoy building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, can confidently manage competing priorities, and remain calm and adaptable when challenges arise. Most importantly, you're a great teammate who is passionate about delivering outstanding event experiences and operational excellence.
Essential criteria
- Strong administration and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a lively environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage professionally with colleagues, senior leaders, suppliers and event attendees.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving approach to work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience working independently while contributing effectively as part of a collaborative team.
Desirable criteria
- Previous experience supporting the planning and delivery of corporate events, conferences, or large-scale meetings.
- Experience coordinating suppliers, event logistics, inventory management, or event administration processes.
Please note: This is a hybrid role based in Cirencester. Travel across the UK, occasional overnight stays, flexibility in working hours during peak event periods, and a full UK driving licence are essential requirements of the position.
