Team Leader - Design & Service Centre Meadowhall, Sheffield

At Signet Jewelers UK & Ireland, our Design & Service Centres are at the heart of what we do. Every day, our skilled teams restore, repair and transform jewellery that often holds significant sentimental value for our customers. We're now looking for an inspiring Team Leader to join our Meadowhall Design & Service Centre and lead a team dedicated to delivering outstanding quality, service and customer satisfaction.

What does the role involve?

As Team Leader, you'll lead and develop a team of talented jewellers and repair coordinators, ensuring the highest standards of quality, efficiency and customer service are achieved.

Key responsibilities include

• Leading, coaching and motivating a team to achieve performance, quality and service targets.
• Creating a positive, engaging and inclusive working environment where colleagues can thrive.
• Managing workloads and resources to ensure service level agreements and customer expectations are consistently met.
• Conducting regular quality reviews and implementing coaching and development plans.
• Supporting recruitment, onboarding and succession planning within your team.
• Acting as a first point of escalation for customer and store enquiries, resolving complex situations professionally and effectively.
• Monitoring operational performance, productivity and quality metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Ensuring compliance with health & safety, security and company procedures.
• Building strong relationships across stores, support functions and external partners to deliver the best possible service.

What we're looking for

We're looking for a confident people leader with a passion for coaching and developing high-performing teams.

You'll ideally have

• Previous team leadership or supervisory experience.
• A proven track record of leading teams within a service, operational, manufacturing, retail or production environment.
• Strong coaching and performance management skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Experience managing workload, priorities and performance against KPIs.
• The confidence to make decisions and resolve challenging customer or operational issues.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word and Excel.

Experience within jewellery, repairs or technical production environments would be advantageous, but most importantly we're looking for someone with the leadership capability and drive to develop people and deliver results.
