Warehouse Team Leader

At Samworth Brothers, our warehouse teams play a vital role in ensuring products are received, stored and dispatched accurately and on time. As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will lead a team of warehouse operatives and take ownership of day-to-day activities within your area, helping deliver the warehouse plan while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and service.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support a team of warehouse operatives during your shift
Coordinate daily warehouse activities to deliver operational plans
Monitor productivity, quality and service performance within your area
Conduct team briefings and ensure effective communication across the team
Manage day-to-day colleague activities, including attendance and timekeeping
Support performance management and colleague development activities
Ensure warehouse processes and procedures are followed consistently
Maintain accurate operational records and documentation
Monitor stock movements and support inventory accuracy
Escalate operational issues promptly and support effective resolution

You will have experience within a warehouse, logistics or supply chain environment
Having previous experience of leading, coaching or coordinating colleagues
Bringing the ability to motivate and engage teams to achieve shared goals
Demonstrating that you have worked towards operational targets and performance measures
You will be confident in using warehouse systems and Microsoft 365 applications
