The role

Sadler's Wells is a world-leading creative organisation dedicated to dance in all its forms. Our mission is to make and share dance that inspires us all.

We are looking for Dressers to join the wardrobe team on a casual basis for the forthcoming production of The Snowman at the Peacock Theatre. This festive production is a truly enchanting part of the Christmas season, and we are seeking enthusiastic, dedicated individuals to help bring the show to life behind the scenes.

How you'll work

For this position, you must be available from 11 November 2026 to 3 January 2027.

You will have the following essential skills and experience

This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of a collaborative backstage team in a fast-paced live theatre environment, supporting performers and helping to ensure each performance runs smoothly.

If your application is successful, an interview will be arranged at a mutually agreeable time. Applicants must be available for the majority of the performance period between 21 November 2026 and 3 January 2027, including weekends, evenings and the Christmas period.

Performance times include:

  • Morning performances at 11:00
  • Afternoon performances at 14:30 (or 13:30 on 26 December)
  • Evening performances at 19:00 (or 17:30 on 26 December)

Please note that there are a number of three-show days throughout the run, together with performances across weekends and key festive dates. Candidates should therefore have a high level of availability throughout. A detailed performance schedule is available in the document linked below and applicants should ensure they can commit to the majority of the required dates before applying.
