Glow Lead Steward

The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS), the UK's leading gardening charity, inspiring everyone to grow, is looking for a casual Glow Stewards to join the team, at our RHS Garden Bridgewater.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of RHS Glow, the RHS' annual winter light trail. As twilight falls the gardens are transformed into a world of magical wonders. Are you passionate about customer service and enhancing visitor experience? The Casual Glow stewards are an integral part of this fantastic event which has become a staple of the festive calendar creating a warm welcoming experience for our visitors as well as supporting the operational and health and safety aspects of the event.

• Maintaining contact with the site DM during Glow and notifying them of any issues or health and safety concerns or absences
• Making sure all stewards are aware of their break times, making sure they promptly take and return from breaks
• Making sure all stewards know what position for the night is, know what is expected and know what the emergency procedures are
• Engage with and provide a warm welcoming experience for all visitors coming to the Glow Event, answering their queries, ensuring they have a fantastic experience.
• Monitor and maintain the flow of visitors throughout the event space to ensure an even distribution of visitors is maintained.
• Ensure Health and Safety regulations and training is followed at all times. Help to implement protocols in the event of an incident such as a power failure.

Hours: aprox 6 hours per night with a minimum of 4 nights per week on various nights from the 25th November 2026 - 3rd Janaury 2027.
