The role

Our vision is to give everyone the belief they can make their move. We aim to make moving simpler, by giving everyone the best place to turn to and return to for access to the tools, expertise, trust, and belief to make it happen.

We're home to the UK's largest choice of properties and are the go-to destination for millions of people planning their next move, reading the latest industry news, or just browsing what's on the market.

Are you passionate about delivering brilliant customer service and ready to take the next step in your career? Rightmove Landlord and Tenant Services (RLTS) is expanding, and we're on the lookout for energetic and detail-driven people to join our dynamic referencing team from 30th November 2026.

*(We will be holding an assessment day in our Newcastle office on Tuesday 27th October)*

At RLTS, we work alongside letting agents to help find the right tenants for rental properties across the UK. Our team plays a key role in ensuring tenants are the right fit by gathering references, assessing financial suitability, and making informed recommendations. We're growing, and that means plenty of opportunity for you to grow too!

This is more than just a job. It's a chance to be part of a team that values your ideas, supports your development, and celebrates success together. If you're ready to thrive in a fast-paced environment where your attention to detail and communication skills make a real impact, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

Managing tenant applications from start to finish, ensuring everything is processed quickly and accurately. Making and receiving calls daily to gather information from tenants, landlords, and employers. Chasing references by email and phone, ensuring applications stay on track. Assessing documents and references to ensure tenants meet financial and suitability criteria. Guiding tenants through the referencing process and helping them provide the right information. Compiling final reports and making recommendations to letting agents. Hitting targets for turnaround times and completed reports.

Who you are

A natural communicator - you're confident on the phone and love helping people. Customer-focused - you're passionate about delivering top-notch service. Organised and adaptable - you thrive in a fast-paced environment and can juggle multiple tasks. Detail-oriented - you spot things others might miss and take pride in accuracy. Driven to succeed - you're motivated by hitting targets and being part of a successful team. Eager to learn - you welcome feedback and look for ways to grow.
