Delivering positive change through regeneration is a key priority of the Council's 2024-2030 Corporate Plan, Working with our Communities.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Regeneration Service, working as part of a dedicated team delivering projects that strengthen communities and support sustainable economic growth across Rhondda Cynon Taf.

As a Project Officer, the successful candidate will help develop, coordinate and deliver a diverse range of regeneration projects, from securing external funding and developing business cases through to project implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. You will also have the opportunity to support the development and delivery of strategic regeneration projects within the Council's heritage portfolio, including the redevelopment of Rhondda Heritage Park.

What you'll do

You will take responsibility for the delivery of individual projects and funding opportunities, working closely with colleagues across the Council, funding bodies and a range of external partners, including businesses and third sector organisations.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a proactive approach and experience of developing, managing and delivering projects. You will have strong communication, organisational and IT skills, together with the ability to build effective working relationships with a range of partners and stakeholders.
