The role
About the Role
You will join an exciting public health research programme into 'compression of morbidity' - looking to fundamentally shift how we think about prevention of late-life diseases like dementia.
You will undertake a research programme in collaboration with, and under the supervision of, Dr Sebastian Walsh in order to realise the objectives and development of a broader NIHR-funded research programme into compression of dementia morbidity. Working with Dr Walsh, you will (1) systematically review existing evidence on compression of morbidity; (2) develop methodological guidelines for the conduct of compression of morbidity analyses by leading a consensus exercise with an international expert group; (3) and apply these guidelines to re-examine the proposed modifiable risk factors for dementia for their effects on compression of morbidity.
