Skills
The role
We are looking for a Chef de Partie to join our Central Production Unit in Chipping Norton and help shape the food that reaches every table across our sites - from our restaurants in London to The Bull in the Cotswolds.
This is a rare kind of CDP role. You will be working with produce harvested just next door on our own farm, turning it into the products that give our kitchens their consistency and character, from making sausages from scratch to finding smart, resourceful ways to use every part of the ingredients we grow. It's hands-on, close to the source, and genuinely different from a standard kitchen line role.
If you care about provenance, love the craft of proper butchery and charcuterie work, and want to be part of building something consistent and brilliant across multiple sites rather than just one service at a time, we would love to hear from you!
What's in it for you as a Chef de Partie:
- 50% off food and drink in our pubs for a table of up to 4 people.
- Every penny of service charge goes to the people who work in our restaurants, including our kitchen team. Access your tips weekly in your digital tip jar.
- Access to Benefits platform with hundreds of discounts on shopping, gym memberships, holidays, bars, restaurants + more.
- 24/7 Health and Wellbeing support, access support lines anytime for your mental, physical and financial health.
- Celebrate your 1-year work anniversary with an overnight stay in the Cotswolds, on us!
- Access to Stream, A financial wellbeing platform, helping you manage, save and access up to 50% of your earnings in advance of payday.
- Earn more with our employee referral scheme.
- Delicious staff meals on shift.
- Career progression opportunities, on going training to develop yourself personally and professionally.
What you'll be doing as a Chef de Partie:
- Prepare, cook, and produce high-quality items using fresh produce sourced directly from our neighbouring farm.
- Make the most of whole ingredients, finding creative and resourceful ways to use every part of the produce and reduce waste.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organisation.
- Assist with stock control and ensure all food is stored, labelled, and rotated according to food safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure products are produced to a consistent standard and are ready for delivery on time.
- Maintain excellent communication with the kitchen team to ensure an efficient, positive working environment.
About you, our new Chef de Partie:
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role.
- A passion for high-quality food, with a keen eye for detail and presentation.
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
- The ability to work under pressure and deliver exceptional results during busy service.
- A team player with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
- A desire to learn and progress within the industry
- Flexible to work evenings and weekends
