If you are looking for an exciting new role and the opportunity to grow your career, then we have the perfect role for you here at Hinckley Vets4Pets!
About you and the role:
This is an experienced veterinary surgeon role who will ideally be confident with all routine surgical and medical cases and enjoy variety within your role. An interest in orthopaedics would be advantageous, but not essential. You should be keen to take on a supportive role and demonstrate key skills including building strong relationships with clients, patients and the wider team.
We are based inside a busy Pets at Home store in the centre of town, offering free onsite parking, a train station within a couple of minutes' walk, easy access to the M1 and just 40 minutes from both East Midlands Airport and Birmingham Airport.
We are a small animal practice with a high caseload.. The practice is modern and spacious with state of the art equipment including digital X-ray, in-house laboratory, ultrasonic laser, suctions machine and ultrasound and multi parameter. We also have a qualified physiotherapist attend the practice to support orthopaedic cases.
We carry out home visits in our own practice van!
What we can offer:
This is a full time position, 40 hours per week, and a rota basis and there are no OOHs.
About us:
You will be working alongside Partners Nicola Gray and Ignacio Martinez Robles and a friendly team of 5 Vets, 7 Nurses, student nurses and 2 Animal Care Assistants.
We take our inspiration from pets in embracing people from all walks of life, and we value, respect and celebrate difference. We encourage our people to be their best selves so that we can create a better world for Pets, our Planet, and People. Our ambition is to reflect the diversity of the communities we operate in, and we are intentional in addressing and removing barriers to create opportunities for the exceptional talent and potential in our communities. Even if your skills and experience don't perfectly align, if you think you can make a unique contribution through your values and behaviours, we want to hear from you!
