The role
What you'll be doing
This role is responsible for leading the delivery of GCC's integration change portfolio, ensuring complex transition activity is translated into clear outcomes, robust plans and achievable milestones that support both strategic objectives and successful business implementation.
You'll provide leadership across multiple workstreams, bringing together teams and stakeholders to ensure integration priorities are delivered in a structured, controlled and customer-focused way. Working across a broad and complex landscape, you'll drive alignment, maintain momentum and ensure delivery remains focused on achieving the intended business outcomes.
A key aspect of the role will be providing portfolio oversight across the integration agenda, supporting effective decision-making and ensuring activity is coordinated across GCC and the wider organisation. You'll manage dependencies, risks and interlocks across business functions and enterprise programmes, balancing customer outcomes, operational readiness, business priorities, cost and risk. By ensuring integration activity is effectively sequenced, governed and coordinated, you'll enable successful delivery while minimising disruption and maintaining focus on strategic objectives.
The role also acts as a senior leader and ambassador for GCC within the wider integration programme. Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders, integration teams and transformation partners will be essential to securing alignment, influencing decisions and resolving challenges across organisational boundaries. Alongside leading business readiness and transition activities, you'll champion continuous improvement by embedding lessons learned, sharing best practice and strengthening integration delivery capability across GCC.
About you
To be successful in this role, as a minimum, you will need:
Significant experience leading large-scale integration, transformation or business change programmes
Strong portfolio and programme leadership capability, with experience coordinating complex delivery across multiple teams and workstreams
Experience leading integration planning, transition delivery and organisational readiness activity
Proven ability to manage complex dependencies, risks, interlocks and delivery challenges across business functions
Strong command of change and programme delivery disciplines, including planning, governance, risk, dependency management, resource management, business readiness and implementation
Credibility operating with senior and executive stakeholders in complex environments, able to provide clear delivery insight, challenge constructively and lead through difficult or sensitive situations
Ability to operate effectively in complex, regulated and fast-paced environments
Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving and decision-making capability
Our customer first behaviours put customers and members at the heart of how we work together. They are the set of behaviours that every colleague needs to display, in every role:
• Feel what customers feel - We step into our customers' shoes, using their feedback and insights to empathise with them and to understand their needs, so that every decision we make starts and finishes with our customers in mind
• Say it straight - We are brave in speaking out and saying what we think - we're honest and direct with good intent, openly sharing diverse perspectives to reach the best conclusions and using language everyone can understand
• Push for better - We don't settle for mediocrity, we challenge the status quo, taking responsibility for continuous improvement and personal development
• Get it done - We prioritise what will have the greatest impact, we are decisive, and we take accountability for delivering brilliant customer outcomes
You can strengthen your application by showing how our customer first behaviours resonate with you, and where you may have already demonstrated these.
