Solar Installation Electrician

Our client is a growing electrical and renewable energy company specialising in solar PV installations, electrical installations and energy solutions across domestic and commercial properties. Due to continued expansion, they are looking for a qualified Solar Installation Electrician to join their team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, testing and commissioning solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and in compliance with current electrical regulations and industry standards.

• Install and wire solar PV systems across domestic and commercial properties.

• Carry out electrical connections, including inverters, isolators and consumer units.

• Test, inspect and commission solar PV systems.

• Ensure all installations comply with BS 7671 Wiring Regulations.

• Work collaboratively with roofers and other installation teams during solar panel installations.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults within solar PV systems.

• Complete all required certification, testing and installation documentation.

• Maintain high standards of health and safety, workmanship and professionalism on site.

• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with relevant electrical regulations and company procedures.

• Previous experience with solar PV installations is preferred but not essential.

• Inspection & Testing qualification, such as 2391 or equivalent, is desirable.
