Senior Authorised Person

Are you an experienced Senior Authorised Person (SAP) with proven competency at 11kV, 33kV, or 132kV? Join our substation construction team delivering critical infrastructure projects across the UK Power Networks (UKPN) Distribution Network in the East of England.

We're hiring High Voltage SAPs to support HV/LV electrical engineering projects, including substation builds, network upgrades, and planned outages. You'll work on UKPN's 11kV, 33kV, and 132kV systems, ensuring safe and efficient operations in line with Distribution Safety Rules.

Plan and execute HV switching schedules using PowerOn and other DNO tools

Isolate and earth high voltage apparatus safely

Issue Permits to Work, Sanctions for Test, and Limitations of Access

Develop and implement safety documentation and method statements

Attend client meetings and resolve operational issues

Mentor junior engineers and support project planning

Ensure compliance with UKPN safety standards, M Group policies, and HSE legislation
