Data Mapping Specialist

You'll define and own the source-to-target mappings across multiple source systems, document the transformation rules behind them, and turn business requirements into clear, detailed data and technical requirements. You'll work day to day with the business, technical BAs, data architects and engineers, and keep a close eye on data quality, reconciliation, lineage and dependencies so nothing gets lost or misread along the way.

I'm working with a leading pensions and investment management organisation that's building a new unified data platform. It will bring data from a number of source systems into one place, and the quality of the data it provides depends on getting the mapping and transformation right from day one.

They need a Data Mapping Specialist to own that work. This isn't about moving data from A to B. They want someone who will challenge the data when something doesn't look right, understand the context behind it, and make sure every assumption and transformation decision is properly captured.

6 month contract | £650 - £750 per day (Inside IR35) | London, City (2 days a week in the office)
