What we're looking for

Applicants must have a minimum of two years' post-qualification experience in a patient-facing role within a relevant clinical setting. Suitable environments include Accident & Emergency (A&E), General Practice, Emergency Medicine, Acute Medicine, Prison Healthcare, or the Ambulance Service. This experience should demonstrate your ability to deliver high-quality care, work under pressure, and manage diverse clinical situations effectively.

RN, RGN or (RMN with dual registration):2 years post qualification - Band 5 minimum
Paramedic 2 years post qualification.

What you'll do

In collaboration with the Police, you'll serve in custody suites, delivering healthcare to detainees. We are dedicated to ensuring the safety of detainees with round-the-clock coverage in the custody suites, in line with a schedule agreed upon with our client.

How you'll work

The role requires the flexibility to work not only in your base Custody suite but across an assigned region in the Police Custody Suites and Force area

Part time - this entails fixed shift working: 06:45 to 19:00 for day shifts and night shifts of 18:45 to 07:00, working in a team rota pattern of 2-day shifts on, 8 days off, 2 nights, 4 days off. Rolling rota available 2 years in advance.
These patterns are contractually agreed with the customer: whereas there may be opportunities for a part-time or mutually agreed "Bank" contract, we require all employees to work full shifts, and part-time employees still need to carry out some Night shifts.
