The role

Position: Assistant Manager - NEW OPENING
Be part of something exciting from the very beginning as we bring Rudy's to Shrewsbury! As Assistant Manager, you'll play a key role in launching our newest Pizzeria, working alongside the senior leadership team to build an amazing team, create a brilliant culture and deliver an unforgettable guest experience. From driving performance and maintaining the highest standards to getting stuck in on the floor, no two days will be the same. It's fast-paced, hands-on and a fantastic opportunity to grow your leadership skills while making your mark from day one.
What you'll do
- Supporting the General Manager in leading a high-performing front-of-house team
- Running shifts independently and owning the floor completely when it's yours to run
- Building and maintaining a team culture that people actually want to be part of
- Driving standards across service, guest experience, and compliance - every shift
- Managing labour, scheduling, and day-to-day cost awareness
- Identifying and developing talent within the team - spotting the next supervisor, the next manager
- Handling guest feedback and resolving issues with confidence and good judgement
- Supporting with recruitment, onboarding, and training as the team grows
