Michael Page are actively working with a long standing client who are looking for a Qualified Management Accountant to join the team in East Leeds on a permanent basis. My client is looking for a dynamic, motivated individual that is looking to lead the management accounts function whilst also supporting the Financial Controller with strategic decision making for a growing business. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant looking for a step up and take lead on the end to end management accounts process. Job Description

• Prepare and manage monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary
• Assist with the budgeting and forecasting cycles, working closely with department leads
• Monitor financial performance, highlighting risks and opportunities to senior stakeholders
• Partner with operational teams to provide financial insight and support decision-making
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies
• Support audit processes and statutory reporting requirements
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting quality
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and business cases
