The role

As a landside receptionist, you will ensure the smooth operation of Meet & Greet, Valet Reception and Control Room areas by welcoming, checking in and assisting customers, accurately recording vehicle and journey information, monitoring operational systems, providing remote support, and escalating faults to help deliver a safe, efficient and first-class customer experience. What will make you successful in this role.

Your Key responsibilities will include

  • Act as a first point of contact for customers and colleagues, providing support across all parking products and using mobile and desktop check-in/check-out systems accurately.
  • Capture accurate vehicle condition and issue details on arrival, and record customer check-in and return times to support revenue and damage claim protection.
  • Use parking systems, intercoms and payment facilities effectively, identifying faults, taking appropriate corrective action and escalating operational or IT issues through the relevant channels.
  • Ensure the safe and effective use of arrival and return areas, maintaining regular communication with operational colleagues and accurately filing keys to support timely vehicle movements and maximise available capacity.
  • Administer customer returns to ensure vehicles are available for collection on time and minimise customer waiting times.
  • Use arrival and return data to make immediate logistical decisions that support a successful operation and enable the team to deliver better than plan.
  • Coordinate the safe movement of customer vehicles where necessary, including communication with operational drivers through direct and key room communications.
  • Monitor CCTV and car park entry/exit systems for congestion and operational or Health and Safety issues, reporting concerns as appropriate.
