Deputy Nursery Manager (Step-up from Room Leader / 3rd in Charge OR Experienced Deputy Manager)

Location: Queens Park, W10 (Excellent transport links near Queen's Park and Kensal Green stations & Free parking at the nursery)
Salary: £39,075 per year + amazing benefits
Contract: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, all year round

You will support the Nursery Manager in the smooth running of the nursery. While you will spend plenty of time creating fun, engaging activities for the children, you will also play a key leadership role. This includes:

• Supporting, mentoring, and developing the practitioner team.
• Assisting with nursery finances, staffing, and health & safety compliance.
• Partnering closely with parents and maintaining our high-quality curriculum.

Every setting shares LEYF's unique pedagogy, but you will have total creative freedom to tailor learning. Whether you are hopping on a train to the Science Museum, taking a bus to collaborate with a nearby LEYF nursery, or baking with your nursery chef, it's always about what helps the children thrive.

What you will need

• Experience: You are either an experienced Deputy Manager looking for a better culture, or a passionate Room Leader / 3rd-in-Charge who is ready to step up into management.
• Qualification: Level 3 or above childcare qualification.
• Skills: Strong team leadership and relationship-building skills.
• Mindset: Reliable, positive, friendly, and full of good ideas on maintaining high-quality, ratio-bound environments.
• Compliance: The right to work in the UK and a strong commitment to safeguarding and protecting children.
