The role
This is an exciting opportunity to lead and develop PE and Health & Social Care at Bradford Girls' Grammar School, a successful, ambitious school that encourages students to aspire, succeed, and lead. As Curriculum Leader, you will be responsible for shaping an engaging, inclusive and ambitious curriculum that enables every student to achieve their full potential, both academically and personally.
As the lead subject specialist, you will drive excellence in teaching and learning across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring that curriculum planning, delivery and assessment consistently meet the highest standards. Working closely with colleagues, you will provide support, challenge and professional guidance, fostering a culture where high-quality teaching and continual improvement are the norm.
The role extends beyond curriculum leadership. You will be instrumental in promoting healthy lifestyles, physical activity and wellbeing, whilst creating opportunities for students to develop confidence, resilience, teamwork and leadership skills through sport and health education.
