Veterinary Surgeon - Weekend Emergency Out of Hours in Peterborough

Vets Now Peterborough are welcoming applications from Out of Hours (OOH) Veterinary Surgeons with a passion for Emergency and Critical Care to join their team on a weekend-only basis. Vets Now is the UK's leading provider of emergency veterinary care, with a nationwide network of out of hours clinics and 24/7 emergency hospitals. As part of Inspiring Vet Care, our teams make a difference to pets and their owners when they need us most.

Out-of-hours doesn't mean all hours, and the flexibility and support we provide makes balancing life easier for many of our team. If you're looking to pick up weekend hours or enhance your ECC skills, this role could be ideal.

We're looking for Vet Surgeons to work two or three weekend shifts over a four-week period. A combination of shifts can be chosen from Saturday days (12:00-19:30), Sunday days (08:30-19:30) and Sunday nights (19:00-09:00), plus a share of bank holidays.

When you join us as an ECC vet, you'll have access to unrivalled training, mentoring from Senior Vet Sam and pathways to create your career journey led by experienced ECC clinicians. You'll also receive an exceptional benefits package that includes:

• Seven weeks pro rata annual leave
• Private medical insurance
• Up to 50% discounted staff pet care
• £1,500 CPD allowance plus 35 paid hours pro rata
• Access to our AdvantEdge programme

Along with being supported in clinic with committed colleagues, our central support teams are here to help too. With dedicated complaint and customer service teams, a weight is taken off your shoulders to concentrate on the cases in front of you.

We create a supportive working environment where people are listened to and treated fairly, honestly and considerately. Join a warm, supportive and established team at Vets Now Peterborough. For further information contact Anne in our Talent team through anne.longmire@ivcevidensia.com

We welcome applications from candidates of all backgrounds, including those from diverse and minority groups.
