At inspiring vet care, our people are at the heart of everything we do. As the UK's number one vet care provider, we're trusted with the care of over 2 million animals, delivering our purpose of healthier animals and happier owners.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Veterinary Care Assistant to join our team at Kernow Vets on a par-time permanent basis.
We are a mixed team here at Kernow Farm & Equine. Some of our vets carry out solely farm work, others purely equine with a range in between.

The successful applicant will be primarily responsible for supporting the vets, ensuring their day to day equipment and work areas are cleaned, maintained and ready for use. There may be appointments that you need to attend to assist the vet, so a strong stomach may be useful. The majority of your day will be office based, so a there will be a degree of general administration tasks too.
This role will work alongside a great team of individuals, so the ability to work with others is essential. We are looking for someone with initiative and motivation to support a great team of vets and who has a strong sense of team spirit and a good sense of humour!
Use of your own vehicle is essential as you will be required to transport equipment between sites and vets, and attend home clinical visits.
