As part of Inspiring Vet Care, our teams make a difference to pets and their owners when they need us most.

Now for rewarding work, your way

Weekend working can be a great way to build flexibility into your veterinary career. Whether you're looking to work alongside other commitments, supplement your existing role or simply want to focus your veterinary career around weekends, this could be the opportunity for you.

This role offers an average 14 hours per week, with shifts covering a combination of:

  • Saturday and Sunday nights: 18:00-09:00
  • Saturday days: 12:00-19:00
  • Sunday days: 08:00-19:00

You'll be part of a supportive ECC environment where no two shifts are the same, giving you the opportunity to manage a varied caseload, develop your emergency skills and make a real difference when it matters most.

Now for your development

When you join us as an ECC Vet, you'll have access to dedicated training, mentoring and development opportunities, supported by experienced ECC clinicians. You'll also benefit from our AdvantEdge programme, helping you build your knowledge and confidence in emergency and critical care through practical training and flexible case-based learning.

Now for the support around you

Emergency work can be challenging, but you won't be doing it alone. Alongside your experienced clinical colleagues in Sheffield, our central support teams are there to help with areas such as complaints and customer service, allowing you to concentrate on what matters most - caring for your patients.

Now for your next weekend move

If you're looking for purposeful ECC work, greater flexibility and the opportunity to make your weekends work for you, we'd love to hear from you.
