We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Sampson Park, Oundle Veterinary Surgery on a part-time basis.

This is a great opportunity for an RVN looking for a smaller part-time role, working two short days per week with a shared Saturday rota. You'll be joining a supportive first opinion practice where you can use your nursing skills across a varied caseload while helping to deliver excellent patient and client care.

How You'll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

You'll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

Working Pattern

* 11.33 hours per week

* Monday, 5-hour shift, Thursday, 5-hour shift

* Includes contributing to one late shift per week, finishing at 7:30pm

* 1 in 6 Saturdays, working an 8-hour shift

General Responsibilities

* Deliver high standards of nursing care across a varied first opinion caseload

* Support surgical procedures, including anaesthesia monitoring and theatre nursing

* Provide inpatient care and patient monitoring

* Run nurse consultations and support preventative healthcare where required

* Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS

* Experience working in clinical practice, with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing

* Good organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively
